1. Data controller
This privacy statement applies to JSM (Jewellery Security Management). The platform was developed and is managed by SWINN / Safe Web Innovations.
For questions about privacy, data processing or the use of JSM, please contact us using these details.
2. Purpose of the platform
JSM helps jewellers and security partners receive faster information about incidents, suspicious situations, theft, fraud, aggression, threats and other security risks.
JSM is not a public social media platform. It is intended solely for exchanging security information within a controlled user group.
3. What data may be processed?
When a report is created, the following data may be processed:
- type of report, such as theft, fraud, a suspicious situation or aggression;
- title and description of the incident;
- date and time of the report;
- location or branch of the reporting party;
- name or company name of the reporting party;
- images or CCTV footage connected to the report;
- recognisable persons, vehicles or other identifying information in images.
Recognisable people in images may constitute personal data. Users must therefore handle photographs, CCTV footage and descriptions with care.

- When in doubt, the user must first contact the JSM administrator.
5. Sharing with police or competent authorities
Information or images from JSM may only be shared when necessary and permitted, for example for a police report, an ongoing investigation, a police request or a legal obligation.
Users do not independently publish information. In the event of criminal offences or serious incidents, information should preferably be shared with police through a report, notification or official request.
6. Retention period
Reports and images are retained only for as long as necessary for the purpose of the platform. Data remains within the secure JSM environment.
The retention period may depend on the type and seriousness of the incident and any ongoing investigations.
